Next year we will welcome Nardelli Coaching onboard to assist us in overseeing a coaching program to benefit all Mont Albert coaches and players.

Lauren and Rob Nardelli are specialists in netball coaching. Lauren is the 2019 VNL Hawks U19 coach, she is a Talent Identification Scout for Netball Victoria, Selector for the U12 and U15 Victorian State Netball Teams & 2017 Community Coach of the Year winner, amongst other amazing credentials. Rob is the current strength and conditioning coach for the U12, U17 & U19 State netball teams & Netball Victoria Talent Academy and he is a Selector for U12 and U15 Victorian State netball teams. Together Lauren and Rob also run the specialist netball program at Box Hill Secondary College (only 1 of 2 sporting schools recognised in Victoria). They are great people, with amazing skills and a passion for working with young people!

The Mont Albert Netball Club, together with Lauren and Rob will provide a program for those girls and coaches who are just starting out, as well as those looking for a little additional development. We plan to do this by:

1) Establishing a mentoring program for Tuesday training.
2) Running an introductory workshop with all coaches on some of the fundamental skills, and coaching principles (anyone welcome).
3) Facilitating specialist/tailored sessions for our players (including offering specialist session for our older age groups).
4) Running additional specialist workshops for coaches throughout the season.

We will be opening our registrations for current Mont Albert Netball Club players soon. It will only be open for a limited time before we open registrations up to the waiting list/general public. We will have to cap the number of teams in each age group so when registrations open up, don’t miss out!
